Ski for Soren is a community driven Nordic ski race taking place at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center on Saturday, January 11, 2025. The event will feature skate 20k, 10k, 5k, fun ski, and sit ski races.
The Montana State University Nordic Ski Team will host the MSU Invitational and SuperTour on Friday-Sunday, January 24-26. Most trails will remain open to the public through the duration of the event.

This Beginner to Biathlon Clinic introduces the challenging and fun sport of biathlon, which combines Nordic skiing with shooting marksmanship. Join us for a fun introduction to biathlon!

This Advanced Biathlon Clinic provides participants the opportunity to build on their skill set from previous clinics. The elements of this clinic include the fundamentals of prone shooting, prone shooting with a sling, zeroing by adjusting sights and windage, and conclude with an introduction to standing shooting.

The Crosscut Classic is a classic technique event that draws skiers from the Bozeman community and throughout the Rocky Mountain West for the 20k, 10k, and 5k classic ski races and 6k sit ski event.
The Bangtail Biathlon is hosted by Crosscut Mountain Sports Center at our race-ready range and on our beautiful trails and features competition and novice categories.
