English description
The Global Snowsports Program offers a weekly cross-country ski session to students and families that traditionally haven’t had many opportunities to participate in snow sports. This program is for anyone, with an emphasis on serving bilingual and multicultural students and families.
Global Snowsports offers ski instruction and activities to first-time, beginner, and intermediate skiers. Ski gear, lessons, and activities will be provided at no cost.

Get involved — volunteer with us!
We are seeking volunteers to help facilitate this program on Saturdays at Crosscut throughout the winter! Qualified volunteers will have some experience working with children as well as intermediate cross-country skiing ability. We are seeking some volunteers who speak Spanish at a conversational, intermediate level though Spanish is not a requirement for everyone! We ask that volunteers are able to commit to at least 3 Saturday sessions.
Winter 2025 Schedule:
Dates: 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15 (participate in the Crosscut Classic), 2/22, 3/1
Total Time Commitment per Session: 12:00-2:45pm (program runs from 12:30-2:30; volunteers arrive beforehand to prep and stay after to wrap up)
Volunteering Perks
1 free Crosscut season pass for volunteers committed to at least 4 sessions
1 free transferable day pass to Crosscut for each session volunteers work
1x use of Crosscut's VIP Bridger Bowl pass for volunteers committed to at least 7 sessions

Global Snowsports is a community program welcoming children and their families to have fun on the snow with us. The goal is to provide welcoming, fun, and accessible experiences for folks to build relationships and learn more about cross-country skiing. We'd love to have your help! Interested volunteers, please fill out the application form below. Volunteers will be required to pass a background check as well as attend an in-person training and complete a short online SafeSport training.
