Crosscut’s Partnerships
Embracing our interdependence — with the land, the community, our visitors, and the greater world
At Crosscut, the meaning of partnership goes deeper than financial sponsorship. We are dedicated to dynamic relationships which benefit everyone involved. Our work as an organization is supported by the vision, influence, donations, and elbow grease of multiple visionary nonprofits, clubs, and businesses. These likeminded partners allow us to focus on what we do best — and Crosscut works hard to return the favor.
U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing and U.S. Biathlon partnerships
Crosscut’s Elite Team partnership is a world-wide first — elite athletes from the U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing and U.S. Biathlon programs training as one team. The unique environment of this groundbreaking model supports athletes’ development in body and mind — their skills, strength, endurance, and sense of wellbeing. Each team member — aspiring and accomplished Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls — offers unique strengths and brings out the best in one another. We are proud to support these athletes as an integral part of our community.
Crosscut is the official training center for the U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing team, and a key development center for the U.S. Paralympics Nordic and U.S. Biathlon organizations.
"Biathlon is a sport that captures the attention and imagination of everyone who sees it. Community and financial support is paramount to our athletes becoming and remaining competitive on the global stage."
– Bob Hall, Chair of U.S. Biathlon
Supporting our hometown heroes
From weekend warriors to Eagle Mount and BSF participants, we all need heroes to look toward, champions who encourage our own journeys. As we watch them train and compete on our hometown trails, the Crosscut Elite Team demonstrates the dedication to excellence that encourages us to dream bigger.
Our community partners
Serving the community through our facilities and trails, Crosscut is thrilled to partner with the following organizations as a place for their programs, clinics, and events.
Bridger Ski Foundation
Crosscut offers high-quality trails and facilities for BSF participants of all abilities to meet, train, compete, and enjoy more time on skis. The 2021 Junior Nationals Qualifier Series will be hosted on trails managed by both Crosscut and BSF. BSF manages the in-town grooming where Crosscut’s biathlon team trains during the week. Caring for our shared landscapes
Bridger Bowl shares a border with Crosscut, and much more. Bozeman’s beloved downhill ski area partners with Crosscut to develop key infrastructure, install equipment, and share knowledge. Bridger Bowl is a vital co-steward of the land, and enables us provide a dynamic, well-cared-for home for cross country and downhill skiers alike.
Crosscut’s acreage borders the national forest land cared for by the USFS. Thanks to their generous partnership and support, Crosscut’s visitors are granted a special use permit for our trails which connect with USFS trails on adjacent public land.
