Crosscut Summer Trail Access Information

As of June 20, our trails are open to mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and visiting with dogs! Learn more about Summer at Crosscut.

  • Public trail use is from sunrise to sunset

  • Our Nordic & Trails Center is open by appointment only to folks renting mountain bikes

  • In the event of an emergency, Crosscut does not offer any rescue or support services — you are responsible for your own safety

  • Please obey all closures — trail and facilities work is frequently done in the summer

  • Dogs must be under voice or leash control at all times

  • Dogs are not allowed in the biathlon stadium

  • Bikes are not allowed on the pavement — the paved trail is for biathlon program rollerskiing only

  • Please pick up after your dog

  • Crosscut is not open for disc golf or equestrian activities

Crosscut Winter Season Hours of Operation

  • The Nordic Center is open 9AM-4PM daily and 9AM-8PM on Mondays and Thursdays

  • Night Skiing is Mondays and Thursdays 4-8PM (day pass, night ski pass, or season pass required for Night Skiing)

  • Rental equipment is due back at the Nordic Center by 3:30pm (Night Ski rental equipment is due back by 7:30PM)

  • Dogs Days are 3–6PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (day pass, night ski pass, or season pass required for Dog Days). Please, always clean up after your dog.

  • Season Pass Holders may ski outside of normal business hours. Ski at your own risk use a headlamp outside of daylight and lighted hours.
