Obstacle Trail Race in Bozeman
This spring, Crosscut Mountain Sports Center will serve as the venue for the Montana Spartan Trifecta Weekend on June 1-2. We look forward to welcoming many new faces to Crosscut and sharing an incredible Montana experience.
With this upcoming event on our trail system, we want to take the opportunity to remind visitors about our seasonal trail closures. Crosscut trails will not be open to the public before, during, or after the Spartan event due to seasonal trail closures. We've tailored the Spartan course and experience with the intent of minimizing impact. Our commitment to preserving the natural beauty and ecology of Crosscut extends to the Spartan event. We've strategically designed the courses to avoid our singletrack bike trails and many wetland areas, focusing instead on less sensitive terrain. This approach allows us to host this exciting event while working to safeguard our environment as best we can.
Even though our regular trails are temporarily closed, we're thrilled to open our doors to participants and volunteers for the Spartan Trifecta Weekend. Whether you're participating in the Sprint 5K, Super 10K, Beast 21K, ULTRA 50K, or cheering on the little ones at the Kids event, you'll experience the breathtaking scenery and exhilarating challenges that make Crosscut Mountain Sports Center truly exceptional.
We're proud to share that the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce is our local event host. Their support and enthusiasm have been instrumental in bringing a successful Spartan event to our area. As the venue, Crosscut is committed to ensuring the success of the 2024 Spartan event and values the chance to showcase our area and introduce many new people to our trail center and our work in the community.
We understand that many new people will experience Crosscut in the coming weeks, and we look forward to welcoming them to Bridger Canyon to enjoy the splendor of southwest Montana in the spring. Join us for a weekend of challenges, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. We encourage locals and visitors to be a part of the Montana Spartan Trifecta Weekend by registering to participate or volunteering to help out. Learn more at Spartan’s website.
