Crosscut Community Free Ski Day
Every winter, Crosscut hosts a free ski day that honors valued members of our community. This year, we welcome the volunteers of Gallatin Valley on Saturday, February 1 between 9am and 4pm. All who volunteer for organizations in our community are invited to visit Crosscut on Saturday, February 1st for a free day of skiing, snowshoeing, or fatbiking.
Please reserve your free day pass online before you arrive!
Folks may bring their own cross-country skis, snowshoes, or fatbikes. If you don’t have equipment, Crosscut has a limited number of ski and snowshoe rentals available for $25 each.
Haven’t volunteered in a while?!
Please consider volunteering for one of Crosscut’s community races this winter. The Bangtail Biathlon and Crosscut Classic need more volunteers.
Visiting with Dogs
Visitors with a valid trail pass may visit with their dog(s) after 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Please note, rental equipment must be returned before 3:30pm allowing for a short window of time for folks renting equipment to get on the trails with their dog. The trail system closes to day pass users at 4pm on Saturdays.
The best ways to take advantage of Crosscut Dog Days is by visiting for Night Skiing on Mondays between 4-8pm, or by becoming a season pass holder. Season pass holders unlock numerous benefits including after hours visits allowing them to stay on the trail system with their pups after 4pm on Dog Days.
