Crosscut Mountain Sports Center to carry on ski legacy at Bohart Ranch

Local non-profit Bridger Biathlon Club (BBC), in partnership with another community non- profit, the Crosscut Mountain Sports Center (CMSC), today exercised an option to purchase the 270-acre Bohart Ranch Cross-Country Ski Center property in Bridger Canyon. BBC and CMSC aim to carry on the Nordic ski legacy established by Bohart Ranch owner, Jean MacInnes.

First Training Sessions at New Paralympic Air Rifle Biathlon Range

The Paralympic Team had plenty of snow on which to stage their pre-Finland training camp at Crosscut last week. The new air-rifle shooting range was broken in and the Paralympic Team had ample opportunity to make use of the newly cleared and groomed terrain. According to Head Paralympic Coach, Eileen Carry, "[the team] did all the Finland race formats and shot 90% in windy conditions!"

New U.S. Paralympic Biathlon Range at Crosscut

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Board Member, Stuart Jennings, and the generous donation of backhoe and operator from our neighbors at Bridger Bowl, the new Crosscut U.S. Paralympic Biathlon Range is coming together. Crosscut will host members for the U.S. Paralympic Skiing and Biathlon Teams this winter while they are preparing for World Cup competitions throughout the world.
