Big Sky State Games at Bohart

Bridger Biathlon Club and Big Sky State Games hosted two biathlon races at Bohart Ranch on Sunday, July 9th. The morning summer biathlon sprint drew in 38 competitors from around the state and the intermountain west. In the afternoon 30 mountain bike racers hit the start line, taking on a challenging single track course. Beautiful weather and great course conditions made for a fantastic day of racing in Bridger Canyon! Check out Bridger Biathlon Club's website for results and a full gallery of images from the day. BBC Hosts Biathlon Sprint

Warm temperatures, fast snow and tricky winds made conditions for an exciting biathlon race at Bohart Ranch Cross Country Ski Center hosted by Bridger Biathlon Club. Sixty racers created the largest field to hit the starting line at a BBC event to date- ranging in age from 9 years old to 50+.

BBC Athletes Race in West Yellowstone Biathlon Sprint

BBC had a great day of racing in West Yellowstone at the WYSEF Biathlon Sprint. Despite our Thanksgiving training camp being cancelled due to low snow, we were able to pull together a crew to head down and race in the unexpected fresh snow. Nine BBC athletes raced, with four of them carrying their rifles and shooting a standing stage in a race for the first time.

We had an amazing summer of exploration in our beautiful backyard playground. Our athletes stayed busy with a schedule full of marksmanship training, roller skiing, trail running, ski bounding, mountain biking and much more.

Big Sky State Games Biathlon 2016

Despite the threat of rain and wind through the weekend, we managed to catch a break in the weather to hold two biathlon races at Bohart Ranch for Big Sky State Games 2016. With athletes visiting from all over the intermountain west, to local first timers and club members, we had a full venue and a great day. Thanks to all of the althletes, volunteers and fans for coming out and enjoying the Montana weather with us.
